Size & Fit Guide

Size & Fit Guide

Most products include their own size guide, but sizing can vary between brands and styles. Here’s how to choose with confidence before placing your order.

01 / Understanding garment sizing

One size doesn’t always fit the same

Different brands

Sizing specifications can vary between manufacturers. A Medium from one brand may therefore fit differently from a Medium in another.

Different styles

Regular, relaxed, slim, fitted and unisex styles can all sit differently, even when the labelled size is the same.

Different garment types

A polo shirt, jacket and sweatshirt from the same manufacturer may not necessarily fit in exactly the same way.

02 / Check the product page

Start with the individual garment

Most products on our website include a size guide relevant to that garment or brand.

Check the size guide before ordering

Where a size guide is shown on the product page, we recommend checking it carefully before selecting your size.

  • Use the size information shown for the specific product
  • Do not rely solely on the size you normally wear
  • Check whether the garment is regular, fitted, slim or relaxed
  • Compare measurements where manufacturer information is available
  • Contact us if the size guide is missing or unclear

03 / Not sure which size to choose?

There are a few ways to check before ordering

Check the measurements

Review the size information shown on the product page and compare the measurements carefully before ordering.

Speak to our team

If a size guide is not shown, or you’re unsure how a garment is likely to fit, Customer Services can help you check the available manufacturer information.

Order a sample

If fit is especially important, consider ordering a plain sample garment before committing to your main branded order.

04 / Samples

Try before you commit

For larger uniform programmes, team orders or when introducing a new garment, ordering a sample can be a sensible way to check suitability before committing to the full order.

A physical sample allows you to assess the garment’s size, fit, fabric, colour and overall feel before branding is added.

This can be particularly helpful when changing from one manufacturer or garment style to another.

05 / Before we add your branding

Check the fit before personalisation

Personalised garments cannot normally be returned for sizing issues

Once a garment has been embroidered, printed or otherwise personalised specifically for your order, it cannot normally be returned simply because the size or fit is not suitable.

We therefore strongly recommend checking the relevant size information before approving a personalised order, particularly when ordering a garment or brand you have not used before.

For larger orders, requesting a plain sample before production can provide additional reassurance.

06 / Comparing fit

Already have a garment that fits well?

Where garment measurements are provided, lay your existing garment flat and compare like-for-like measurements rather than relying only on the size printed in the label.

The exact measuring method can vary between manufacturers, so always follow the guidance shown with the specific product where available.

If the measurements or fit description are unclear, contact Customer Services before placing the order.
